Hikamia: Jurnal Pemikiran Tasawuf dan Peradaban Islam upholds the responsible and transparent use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools throughout the editorial and publication process, in accordance with COPE guidance and the standards of academic integrity.

For Authors Authors must disclose any use of AI tools (e.g., for language editing, translation assistance, literature searching, or idea generation) in a dedicated "AI Statement" included in the manuscript before the reference list. AI tools may assist with language and formatting but must not be used to generate research data, analysis, findings, or conclusions. AI systems must not be listed as an author or co-author under any circumstance. Authors remain fully responsible for the originality, accuracy, and integrity of the entire manuscript, including any content assisted by AI tools.

For Editors and Editorial Board Editors may use AI tools only for limited administrative or technical support (e.g., initial formatting checks). AI must never be used to replace scholarly judgment in making editorial decisions, including acceptance, rejection, or requests for revision.

For Peer-Reviewers (Mitra Bestari) Peer-reviewers are strictly prohibited from using any form of AI tool to analyze, evaluate, or draft review comments, and are prohibited from uploading or inputting any part of a submitted manuscript into any AI application or platform. This prohibition is essential to protect the confidentiality of unpublished work and the integrity of the peer-review process.

Violations Any violation of this policy may result in manuscript rejection, correction, or other corrective actions as outlined in the journal's Publication Ethics statement.
