The Role of Curriculum Management in Strengthening Students’ Character Development Among Student in Islamic Madrasahs

This study aims to describe to role of curriculum management in strengthening student’ character in madrasahs a an effort to enhance the quality of Islamic-based education. Character development is an essential component of modern education, particulary in Islamic school that emphasize the integration of academic competencies and moral values. This research employed a qualitative approach with the principal, curriculum documents analysis. The findings reveal that curriculum management plays a strategic role through three key aspect : curriculum planning that embeds Islamic character values, collaborative and contextual learning implementation, and continuous evaluation based on habituation and role modelling. Moreover, school leadership and institutional culture significantly influence the success of character-strengthening programs. These result highlight that effective curriculum management serves as a strong foundation for nurturing students who are virtuous, disciplined, and responsible.
